Layered is hand knotted by the most experienced artisans, using traditional techniques with no mechanical intervention. Several specialist techniques are combined within each design. The result is our most intricate patterns to date, with a depth of colour and texture that is unique to this method of weaving.
These are rugs that sit closer to artwork. They suit larger spaces, such as lobbies and atriums where a rug has the job of anchoring the furniture and creating immediate impact.
Layered explores memory, transition and the way identity is assembled over time.
Coast
Coast began as a photographic collages, composed from personal photographs and digital screenshots collected throughout the year.
Massif
Massif was conceived using scraps of paper gathered from home, transforming everyday remnants into an abstract landscape.
Fragment
The works explore how memories, moments and material traces accumulate, overlap and gradually shape our sense of self.
